THAT SPECIAL FRIEND
THAT SPECIAL FRIEND.
I
made a new friend;
She’s fun, she’s so
sweet.
Sometimes we could
buy
Ice cream and both
lick
From the same cone
Right on the streets.
We seemed perfect,
We just clicked.
She could
call me at dawn
To have long chats.
Or sometimes at noon
To share long laughs.
She was fun to be
with,
Nice to chill with.
I found in her,
That special friend.
I could put my head
On her laps.
She could caress me,
Give me hugs.
Occasionally we lie
And just admire;
Looking at each
other,
Straight in the eye.
I love her,
She loves me too.
She tells me
She misses me too.
I feel positive;
I need her too.
She found in me,
That special friend.
I never want
To date her;
That doesn’t mean
I hate her.
She never wanted
To date me;
That doesn’t mean
She hates me.
The bond we shared
Is beyond compare.
I could surf the
skies
Just for her.
We could walk
Hand-in-hand anywhere.
She was that friend;
That special friend.
We had same emotions;
Same fears.
We had similar
intentions;
No sex.
We had interests in
success;
Same shares.
We could eat while
standing;
No chairs.
Some loved us.
Some just can’t stand
us.
Some admired us.
Some are mad at us.
We don’t care
And won’t ever care.
For we know we’ve
found
That special friend.
